Darf ich vorstellen/ May I present

Liebe Leser, Dear Readers,
wie geht es Euch? Ich hoffe sehr gut. Der Rest der Familie schläft momentan, Robert hat Schmerzmittel genommen, es geht ihm schon sehr viel besser und er wacht nicht mehr ständig durch den Schmerz auf. Montag hat er einen Termin im Krankenhaus, wo sein Bein gescannt wird - wir hoffen so sehr dass die Schwellung "nur" Wasser ist...
how are you? I sure hope great. The rest of the family is sleeping at the moment, Robert has taken painkillers, now he is a lot better and is not constantly waking up due to pain. Monday he got an appointment in the hospital for his leg to be scanned, we just hope so much that the swelling is "only" water...

Ich habe ein paar meiner "Happy news" Anhaenger fertig gemacht und arbeite an weiteren, ich moechte so viele wie moeglich vor Montag fertig kriegen, da ich dann das Paket mit all meinen Arbeiten losschicken muss, wenn es rechtzeitig zum Sommer Markt in Deutschland sein soll.
I haven finishing some of my "Happy news" pedants and am still working on others, I want to get as many as possible done before Monday, as then I need to ship them to Germany for the summer market.
Vergesst nicht vorbeizuschauen wenn ihr nah genug wohnt oder ohnehin einen Ausflug machen wollt - der Markt ist nächste Woche Sonntag im Satteldorfer Unterdorf - Satteldorf ist in der Naehe von Crailsheim. Leider werde ich nicht dort sein koennen aber Mama, Joe, Sandra und Vati halten die Stellung. Der Markt selber ist eher klein, aber alle gezeigten Sachen sind handgemacht und von hoher Qualität. Das Fest zu dem der Markt gehört ist sehr suess.
Do not forget to visit us if you live close enough to come - the market will be next week sunday, in the lower village of Satteldorf, which is close to Crailsheim. Unfortunately I will not be able to come, but mom will be there, and Joe, Sandra and Dad. The market itself is rather small, but the things shown there are all handmade and of very high quality. The little fair the market belongs to is really nice.

Mama arbeitet soweit ich mich erinnere an 2 verschiedenen Schals, sie zeigt sie sicher sobald sie fertig sind.
As far as I remember Mom is working on 2 silk scarfs, I`m sure she`ll post them as soon as they are done.

Glueckliche Nachrichten/ Happy News

Liebe Leser, Dear all,
wie geht es Euch? Ich hoffe ihr hattet ein tolles Wochenende und dass es Euch trotzdem nichts ausmacht dass schon wieder Montag ist. Wir hatten richtig klasse Wetter hier und haben es am Samstag am Strand genossen. Gestern waren wir zu Hause um Roberts Bein zu schonen, es hat ihn in letzter Zeit wieder geschmerzt. Er ist gerade unterwegs zum Arzt, hoffentlich nehmen sie ihn direkt dran (das Telefon nehmen sie nicht ab) und überweisen ihn direkt ins Therapiezentrum.

really great weather and enjoyed it at the beach on saturday. Yesterday we stayed home to give Roberts leg a little rest, is has been troubling him again. He`s on his way to the docotor at the moment, hopefully they`ll take him right on and transfer him right to the radiation treatment center.

Während Jenny geschlafen hat hab ich eine neue Serie gestartet, ich nenne sie "Glueckliche Nachrichten". Dies sind die Anhaenger, Ohrringe und Armbaender folgen wahrscheinlich noch. An der einen Seite ist Mica Shift in pastell-metall farben mit einer froehlichen Mitteilung wie Smile, Sun, Dance, Create. Dieser Part ist geschliffen, poliert und lackiert. Der andere TEil ist schwarz, geschliffen, poliert und mit einer matten Schutzschicht versehen. Ich bin sehr happy ueber das Ergebnis, schaut:
While Jenny was sleeping I started a new series, which I call "Happy News". They are pedants (earrings and maybe bracelets will follow), with 1 part Mica Shift Metallic colours, with something fun or happy written on it, like smile, sun, dance, create. This part is sanded, polished and varnished in shiny gloss. The other part is black and sanded and sealed with a mate finish. I am really happy about the way they came out, have a look:
