Nervös/ Nervous

Liebe Leser, Dear all,
wie geht es Euch heute? Das Wetter in Kopenhagen ändert sich alle 5 Minuten, von grau mit Regen zu grau mit Sturm, und ab und zu sieht man den blauen Himmel und die Sonne.
how are you today? Well, the weather here in Copenhagen has been changing every 5 minutes these last days, but basically from grey to grey with rain, very heavy rain and storm back to grey with little sitings of blue sky and sun somewhere up there.

Ich war Samstag abend und Sonntag SEHR nervös wegen des Sommermarktes. Nicht falsch verstehen - ich wusste genau dass Mutti und Joe, Sandra und Vati alles perfekt herrichten wuerden und auch super durchziehen - aber es ist sehr seltsam nicht dort sein zu koennen, nicht persönlich zu sehen wie meine neue Linie ankommt und einfach nicht "meinen Teil der Arbeit" leisten zu können. Nun gut, dafür musste ich mich beschäftigen und habe ein paar Sachen für den Weihnachtsmarkt ausprobiert - hier sind die Ergebnisse:
I was VERY nervous Saturday evening and Sunday - because of the summer market. Don`t get me wrong - I knew mom and Joe, Sandra and Dad would get everything done and perfectly so - but it`s very strange not being able to be there, not knowing how my new line would get appreciated and just all of them doing my part of the work, too. Well, therefore I had to keep busy, trying new things for the christmas market - here are the results:
Das ist "Herbst" - ein Untersetzer. Ich wollte ausprobieren ob ich Sets fuer den Weihnachtsmarkt machen kann - 4er Sets. Nachdem ich nachmittags Stempel gekauft hatte musste es Hidden Magic sein - logisch. Mir gefällt das Ergebnis richtig gut, aber ich glaube nicht dass ich sie in Sets anbieten kann - ich habe um sie stabil zu kriegen einfach viel zu viel Clay gebraucht, so dass Sets fuer die Maerkte auf denen wir sein werden einfach viel zu teuer wären. Aber vielleicht werd ich noch einzelne machen, die die Leute sich dann aussuchen koennen - als einzelne (meiner ziehrt jetzt meinen Schreibtisch) oder sie stellen sich selber Paare/ Sets zusammen.
This is "Herbst" - a coffee mug holder. To avoid those circles on the table. I had wanted to see if I could make some sets for the christmas market - sets of 4, actually. Having bought stamps that afternoon it was clear that it was to be hidden magic technique to for the first ones :-). I really love how they came out, but I do not think I`ll be able to sell them in sets, because I just needed way too much clay to make them robust enough which would make the sets just overly expensive for the market we`ll be at. But maybe I`ll still make a whole bunch different ones - they were a load of fun and they are decorative alone, too so people can get only one (mine is decorating my table at work) or select their pairs/ sets.

My other creations from a nervous evening/ day:
"Forest Beauty" - ein toller Anhänger in sehr ruhigen, gedeckten Tönen - erinnert mich an einen Herbstwald.
"Forest Beauty" - a gorgeout pedant in very calm, soothing colous - reminds me of an Autumn Forest. "Harem" - mit einem schönen orientalischen, mystischen Stich.
"Harem" - with a nice, oriental and mystical touch.
"Hide"-Ohrringe - die Farben haben mich an Camouflage erinnert, daher der Name "Verstecken" - aber die Ohrringe sind so gross dass man sich damit garantiert nicht verstecken kann!! Ich hatte noch nie so grosse Ohrringe und liebe sie!!
"Hide" - Earrings - the colors reminded me of camouflage, therefore the name, but they are so BIG there is gonna be absolutely no hiding with them!! I just love èm!!

Übrigens gab es keinen Grund zur Nervosität - alle haben super zusammengespielt auf dem Markt und sowohl Mamas als auch meine neuen Kreationen sind super angekommen. Es ist wirklich gut gelaufen - aber Mutti wird Euch alles darüber Morgen oder Übermorgen erzählen - wir müssen sie noch ein bisschen mehr ausruhen lassen :-) .
By the way - of course everybody did just great at the market and people loved both moms new things as well as mine. We did real well - mom will tell you all about it tomorrow or the day after - we need to give her a little more rest :-) .
